A grand neo-classical residence built around a skylit double-height atrium — white columns, wrought-iron balustrades and polished marble beneath a single circular oculus.
The atrium is the reason to shoot here. Two storeys of column and balustrade rise to a circular skylight that drops one moving shaft of daylight onto the marble floor — a source that changes character hour by hour and needs almost no augmentation to work on camera.
Around it the house opens into a run of connected reception rooms: an arched salon where iron latticework throws patterned shadow across the floor, a cove-lit master suite, and a marble stair that gives a director a natural vertical move between levels.
Outside, a walled lawn and a lit gatehouse approach let the property play as a daylight establishing shot or a full night exterior without relocating the unit.
